Kathren and Nathan had a beautiful May wedding with lots of DIY and sentimental details added to every aspect of the day and the decor. From the creation and use throughout of a personalized celtic knot, hand-made jewelry Kathren made for all of the Bridesmaids and her Mother, the bouquet wrap made out of her Mom’s wedding dress, a cameo pendant she wore that belonged to her Grandmother, and even table cards that included little known facts about the Bride and Groom. The list could go on and on. One of the most unique details was a stone water fountain on display at their wedding reception for which they asked all of their guests to write a note on a stone that would later fill the fountain in their home. We just love when so much time and thought goes into the details!
The wedding ceremony was located at the North Wilkesboro Presbyterian Church and the reception was at the Walker Center Doc and Merle Watson Theatre in Wilkesboro NC.

Tiffany’s Senior Portraits | NC Mountain Country Farm | North Wilkes High School | Wilkesboro NC
This Class of 2014 North Wilkes High School Senior, was a dream to photograph for her senior portraits. Tiffany loves horses and spending time outdoor in the country. She gets the biggest grin whenever she spends time with animals and dreams of one day becoming a marine biologist. It only seemed appropriate to involve all the things she loves into her senior session at this beautiful farm with the NC Mountains providing a perfect backdrop.
And since Tiffany and her parents didn’t like the boring cap and gown photos taken at her school, she brought those items along and we created photos that were a lot more fun and announcement worthy. We hope you enjoy these as much as we enjoyed creating them!

Chris and Jessica’s Wedding | Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter | Charlotte NC
This couple hosted one of the most fun and exciting Charlotte weddings we’ve ever been a part of. Chris and Jessica along with all their friends and family’s celebratory excitement combined with the picturesque Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter ceremony, Charlotte skyline backdrop, and Charlotte Marriott City Center reception venue made for incredible candid and formal wedding photos.
Even after a long 12-15 hour day the photos that took place at the end of the night on the dance floor say it all. An absolute blast was had by all!
These images are pages of the couple’s wedding album. Images they selected that were then custom designed, printed, and leather bound into an heirloom that will be treasured for generations.

Angela loves photos and takes advantage of having every moment captured in a snapshot. Andrew, like most guys would prefer to not be in front of the camera but understands how important these engagement memories are as they draw closer to their wedding day and would do anything for Angela. Spending time with these two before we photograph their September wedding was precious time together. The natural location with the NC Blue Ridge Mountains as the backdrop seemed perfectly appropriate at putting Andrew, a professional landscaper, at ease. And of course we couldn’t pass up the opportunity during the engagement session to include their fur babies, Mia and Duke, who are also going to have roles in the wedding ceremony.
We are so thankful for the opportunity to capture these memories and cannot wait to photograph their September wedding day at Beech Mountain Alpen Inn. In the meantime, take a peek at Angela and Andrew’s engagement photos.
